Very serious incidents burst around the stadium of Ciudad del Este, located at 330 kilometers of Asunción, but also another city of the country.
109 supporters of Cerro Porteño were arrested after a brawl with the fans of Olimpia. Five fans of which three belong to barra brava “Plaza” will be prosecuted for firearms. 4 revolvers gauges 38 and 22, with 27 balls, were found on them. Extremely fortunately nobody used of it.
More serious, in Hernandarias, onesupporter, 18 years old, from Olimpia, Rodrigo Fleitas, was killed out of a ball in the head whereas he celebrated the victory of Olimpia with others supporters. A nine year old child received a ball in the thigh to him. In Ñemby, Christopher Leguizamón, 22 years old and to support of Olimpia, was killed by a blow of piece of broken bottle planted in the heart. At the end of the game, both sides stayed away from each other, but at the train station, Basel supporters threw missiles like rocks at policemen and locals.

Leverkusen's Kadlec suffer broken nose in fan attack
Bayer Leverkusen's Michal Kadlec was attacked by two alleged Cologne fans early on Sunday and suffered a broken nose, the player and police said. Kadlec told the Cologne Express newspaper he had been approached by two people who identified themselves as supporters of regional rivals Cologne before hitting him in the face. "I was stunned. My nose started to bleed heavily. The two men had said they were Cologne fans," he told the newspaper. The 27-year-old Czech, who was leaving a nightclub in Cologne accompanied by his girlfriend at the time, said he intended to play against Hanover 96 next week. Police said they were investigating the attack. Leverkusen are in sixth place after a win at Hoffenheim on Saturday while Cologne, whose fans have repeatedly been in the spotlight for violent behaviour this season, are in the relegation playoff spot after drawing 1-1 with VfB Stuttgart.

Genoa's Serie A game with Siena on Sunday was suspended for 45 minutes due to crowd disturbances at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.
A large group of Genoa fans accumulated around the tunnel area and threatened to invade the pitch early in the second half with their side 4-0 behind.
After a break of 20 minutes, the match officials and the Siena team left the field with the furious fans applauding them, but not letting the Genoa players approach.
Home captain Marco Rossi spoke with the group, who demanded the Genoa players took off their shirts before leaving the field.
After several more minutes, Rossi went round and collected his team mates' shirts, but Giuseppe Sculli refused to take his off and, with tears in his eyes, confronted the supporters, making it clear that he would not cave in to their demands.
A compromise appeared to be reached with the fans retreating from the tunnel and allowing the game to continue.

Italy condemns fan power after Genoa "strip of shame" - 23/04/2012
Source : Reuters
Genoa will have to play their next two home games behind closed doors after players bowed to the demands of rioting fans who halted play and ordered them to take off their shirts as the Serie A team lost 4-1 at home to Siena on Sunday.
"Madness in Genoa", was Monday's headline in sports daily Gazzetta dello Sport, while all newspapers carried articles on the "shame" of Genoa for letting their hardcore "ultras" fans dictate terms to the players.
"These things must end quickly, putting up with this causes too much damage to Italian soccer," said Paris St Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti, formerly at Chelsea, AC Milan and Juventus.
The referee stopped play as smoke bombs and firecrackers were hurled onto the pitch by a small contingent of Genoa's fans, some of whom then climbed over the perspex barriers separating them from the field.
The supporters, some of them hooded, demanded the players remove their shirts after chanting they were not worthy of wearing them.
While Siena retired to their dressing room, most Genoa players handed their shirts to captain Marco Rossi although striker Giuseppe Sculli refused and tried to negotiate with the supporters.
Serie A announced the two-game ban on fans in a statement.
Genoa also face upheaval on the field after colourful owner Enrico Preziosi, supposedly banned from football for previous misdemeanours, said in a radio interview that he was sacking coach Alberto Malesani and replacing him with Luigi De Canio.
Malesani was only reappointed at the start of this month having been previously sacked in December.
Genoa, who had hoped to mount a challenge for the Europa League spots at least this term, are 17th in Serie A only one position and one point clear of Lecce in the relegation zone with five games left.
Former Queens Park Rangers boss De Canio has a tough baptism on Wednesday with Genoa travelling to champions Milan, who are desperate for the win after slipping three points behind Juventus in the race for the Serie A title.
Sunday's scenes were reminiscent of a European Championship qualifier between Italy and Serbia at the same stadium in 2010 when visiting fans rioted and caused the match to be abandoned.
"I thought I was dreaming," said former Milan and Italy midfielder Demetrio Albertini, now vice president of Italy's soccer federation. "You only have to compare us with abroad to see that we have trouble managing our fans and our stadiums."
MATCH-FIXING SCANDAL
The episode is the latest blow to Italian soccer, which is already reeling from a new match-fixing scandal currently centred on Serie B team Bari but which threatens to escalate as prosecutors continue their investigations.
La Stampa daily said Italian soccer was made a laughing stock by "the photo of a bemused Marco Rossi transformed from captain to laundry boy" as he handed over his team mates' shirts to the fans.
Under the headline "The shame and the cowardice" La Repubblica said Italian stadiums were "places where the law cannot enter and where the strongest have the power to take away everyone's dignity".
While the shirt-removal incident in Genoa was unprecedented, Italian soccer is not new to episodes of "fan power" from its notorious but influential "ultra" supporters.
The 2004 Rome derby between AS Roma and Lazio was abandoned after fans invaded the pitch due to a rumour, which turned out to be false, that a supporter had been run over by a police vehicle. On that occasion Roma captain Francesco Totti famously negotiated with representatives of the team's "ultras".
Other problems with hooligans contributed to Italy failing in its bid to host Euro 2016 while the country's crumbling stadiums were also a factor.
The president of Italy's soccer league Maurizio Beretta called for the police to take a hard line against the ultras and Interior Minister Anna Maria Cancellieri said those responsible for the incident had already been identified.

Millwall fan arrested for alleged assault on British Transport Police officer
A MILLWALL fan was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer after Ipswich Town 0-3 defeat to the south-east London club at Portman Road.
The Millwall fan was detained following an alleged incident outside Ipswich Railway Station at around 5.45pm on Saturday, as supporters made their way home.
It is understood a British Transport Police (BTP) officer suffered injuries to his face.

Two other Millwall fans were arrested and six people were ejected from the match. Those arrested were detained for criminal damage and being drunk.
Chief Superintendent David Skevington, of Suffolk Constabulary, who was in charge of police operation said: “There were no incidents of serious disorder. In terms of the policing operation it has been a real success.”

Glory fans charged after ugly scenes in Northbridge
A Northbridge pub was closed and four people were charged in ugly scenes following Perth Glory's grand final loss yesterday. Angry fans spilled onto the street outside the Elephant and Wheelbarrow on Lake Street, where hundreds of people had gathered to watch the game against Brisbane Roar. A small number of fans became unruly at about 4.35pm after the Glory went down to Brisbane following a controversial umpiring decision. There were reports of glasses being thrown from the balcony onto the street, and more than ten police officers attended to disperse the crowd and issue move-on notices. A police spokesman said four people would be charged by summons with disorderly conduct. Elephant and Wheelbarrow managing director Chris Brockwell said management made the decision to close the pub in order to remove a small number of disorderly patrons. "It was to do with an immature attitude of some Glory supporters, who became irate as a result of the decision that caused the result of the match to be what it was," Mr Brockwell said. "It was clear it was a very emotional time, they were causing a problem and it had the capacity to continue." "We felt it was in the best interests to ensure the patrons who had been the cause of the problem were removed." The pub re-opened at 6.45pm after the offending patrons were removed.

Police probe after stewards hurt amid Coventry City relegation
TWO stewards were assaulted during angry scenes at the Ricoh Arena as Coventry City were relegated from the Championship.
Police say they are reviewing a number of incidents following the violence that marred the club’s final home game of the season.
In total, eight fans were ejected from the ground after the final whistle and their details were taken by police.
A spokesman for Coventry Police said: “The club is currently reviewing CCTV footage and police are investigating the incidents.
“Anyone with information about those involved in match day crime should speak to officers at the force’s Football Unit on ...
“Alternatively, people who do not wish to speak to police officers directly can call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on ...
“Anyone arrested for football matters will be subject of applications for football banning orders which will prevent them from attending future fixtures.”
Two stewards were hurt in separate incidents. One older steward was hit on the back of a head with a bottle but did not require medical treatment.
Another was hurt as fans scuffled and she fell down some steps, cutting a finger.
On Twitter, West Midlands Police’s football safety officer for Coventry City, PC Dave Mapp, wrote: “Disappointing finish to the season at the Ricoh. Majority of supporters voiced their opinions in the correct manner.

Five Swansea City fans given banning orders over violent incidents - 27/04/2012
Source : http://www.walesonline.co.uk
Five men have been banned from football matches for three years for their involvement in incidents at Swansea City games.
Rhodri Boosey, Mark Morgan, Matthew Mackinnon, all aged 20, along with Sean Aspland, 23, and 18-year-old Daniel Martoni were given the banning order after it was ruled they caused or contributed to violence and disorder at a number of Swansea City football matches.
The orders were handed out in a civil hearing at Swansea Magistrates' Court, despite never having been arrested or convicted of football-related violence.
They will be banned from all football matches, and from any town or city where either Swansea or Wales are playing away.
Superintendent Phil Davies, of Swansea Central Police Station, said: “South Wales Police can, and will, continue to pursue civil banning orders against those who are frequently and actively engaged in incidents of disorder at football events regardless of whether they have been arrested or convicted.”
“I’m sure that every Swansea City fan will agree that on the field results this season have been exceptional and going forward nobody will want to miss out on the continued success of the team and therefore these cases should once again be seen as a deterrent to anyone thinking of getting involved in either organised or spontaneous disorder.”
"As we approach the end of the clubs first season in the premiership the feedback we have had from football clubs and other forces around the country regarding the behaviour of the Swansea fans so far this season has been extremely positive.”
“This is testament to our belief that the overwhelming majority of Swansea City fans continue to be well-behaved and passionate about their team.”
“However we will continue to work with the club to further reduce incidents of disorder and ensure that necessary action is taken against the minority who are intent on causing trouble, thereby affording protection to the vast majority whose only wish is to enjoy a game of football.”
